About Joint Ventures

Migratory Bird Joint Ventures are cooperative, regional partnerships that work to conserve habitat for the benefit of birds, other wildlife, and people. The North American Waterfowl Management Plan established Joint Ventures in 1986. Today, 22 habitat JVs and 3 species JVs cover nearly all of the US, parts of Canada, and much of Mexico. Much more information on the Joint Venture program is available at http://mbjv.org.
