Chihuahuan Desert

The Rio Grande Joint Venture includes the Chihuahuan Desert in Texas and Mexico.  

The Chihuahuan Desert is Bird Conservation Region 35.

Tamaulipan Brushlands

The Rio Grande Joint Venture includes all of the Tamaulipan Brushlands.  

The Tamaulipan Brushlands is Bird Conservation Region 36.

Gulf Coast Prairie

The Rio Grande Joint Venture includes the Gulf Coast Prairie in Mexico only.  

. The Gulf Coast Prairie is Bird Conservation Region 37.
